Our Mission

MadHat is a small (very small, actually) Informatics R&D organization.

We are a diverse, ad hoc group of people that work with computational machines and Artificial Intelligence

- but we are just as comfortable setting them aside and grabbing a pencil or a musical instrument, instead.

We are computer scientists by education, but have our hearts set on art.

We work where art, brains and machines meet.

Our mission statement is clear :

The design and development of AI tools & interactive computational systems that stimulate and enhance creativity.

Towards this mean, we employ algorithmic, machine learning, data-driven and brain-inspired methodologies.

We wear all of our hats with pride. Especially our MadHat.
